Explore — community terms
Last updated: 2026-10-04
Version 2026-10-04. Publishing in Explore asks you to accept the current version of these terms. When a new version is issued, the app asks again before your next publication. They add to the Terms of Service; what is done with the data is in the Privacy Policy, under “Explore”.
What Explore is
Explore is the part of Tourlet where people publish a trip for anybody to browse, like and copy into their own trips as a starting point. A publication is a copy of a trip, with the private parts left out; it does not follow the trip afterwards unless you update it.
What you may publish
Your own itineraries, or ones you have the right to share. You are responsible for what you publish.
What you may not publish
- hate, or harassment of a person or a group;
- sexual content, or violence;
- anything illegal;
- spam, advertising, or referral and affiliate links;
- other people’s personal data, or your own contact details (e-mail addresses, phone numbers, private addresses);
- booking codes, ticket numbers or anything else that gives access to a reservation;
- a name or text that impersonates somebody;
- somebody else’s publication copied and presented as yours.
This applies to every text that becomes public: the trip’s name, the description, the names of stops, activities, lists and places, links, and your public name.
The licence you give
You keep your rights in what you publish. By publishing you allow the service to show your publication to anyone, and to let anyone copy it into their own trips and change the copy. A copy somebody made is theirs and stays theirs after you remove your publication; removing it stops it being shown and copied from then on, nothing more.
Your public name
It is a pseudonym, shown with your publications. It must not impersonate anybody, and “Tourlet” is reserved. Likes are counted, not shown by name.
Moderation
- An automatic check reads the text of a publication before it is published; what is sent, and to whom, is in the Privacy Policy. Nothing is published if it fails the check, or if the check cannot be made at that moment.
- Anyone can report a publication. A publication reported by three different people is hidden until it has been reviewed.
- The operator may keep, hide or remove a publication, and ban an author, which removes all of that author’s publications. This can happen without notice when it needs to.
The check is a machine, and neither it nor the operator can promise that everything published is acceptable.
No guarantee
Nobody checks that a published itinerary is accurate, safe, open or up to date. It is somebody else’s plan, made at another time. Check it before you travel, and trust the airline’s, hotel’s or operator’s own confirmation of any booking over it.
Reporting, and contact
Use Report in the menu of a publication; it works without an account. To raise anything else, or to ask for something to be removed, write to apps@gpm.name.
Age
As in the Privacy Policy, Tourlet is not directed at children under 13, and Explore is not either.
