Tourlet has not been released, and these terms describe an app that does not have a public build yet. They are published now because they are meant to be true from the first release rather than written after the fact, and they will be revised as the product is — the date at the bottom moves whenever the text does.
Installing or using the app, once it exists, means you accept them. If you do not, do not install it.
What Tourlet is meant to be
Tourlet displays and organises a trip’s itinerary — flights, stays, plans, notes — that you put into it. It is not a booking service and it does not sell tickets, rooms or tours: nothing in the app’s plan makes a reservation or a payment on your behalf, and this page will say so plainly if that ever changes.
The plan is not the app
What Tourlet will actually do is described in its design brief, which is itself explicit about what is decided and what is an open question. Nothing in that document, or in the description on this site, is a promise about a shipped feature until it is in a release people can install. Where the brief proposes something and marks it a proposal to confirm, these terms make no claim about it either.
The itinerary sync
A backend of Tourlet’s own is planned for syncing an itinerary across devices. As things stand it is an unfinished scaffold with no account system and no data behind it — nothing you do in the app reaches it today. Once it is a working feature, it will be optional, and these terms will state plainly what you are responsible for in anything you choose to sync, the same way every sibling app in this family states it for its own optional cloud feature.
Licence
Once the app is distributed, you will get a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use it on devices you own or control. You may not sell, rent, sublicense or redistribute it, and you may not remove or alter attribution or notices in it.
Where the source code is published, its own licence governs the code — these terms would cover the distributed app, not the repository.
No warranty
The app, once available, will be provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. It is a personal project, not a commercial product with a support obligation.
What is outside anyone’s control
Trip plans depend on external facts — a flight’s actual schedule, a booking’s actual terms — that Tourlet does not verify and cannot guarantee. Whatever you put into the app is only as accurate as what you gave it, and the airline, hotel or operator’s own confirmation is always the reference to trust over this app’s copy of it.
Acceptable use
Do not use the app unlawfully, and do not use it to store or distribute material you have no right to.
Paid features
Nothing in Tourlet is for sale today, and no paid tier has been decided. If one is added,
these terms will name it, and the pricing rules this family already follows
(common/docs/rules.md §9) — a subscription, never a one-off, with a stated trial and a
stated price before any tap — will apply exactly as they do to every sibling app.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Gabriele Proietti Mattia will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, nor for any loss arising from an itinerary that failed to display, a plan that turned out to be wrong, or any claim arising from material you chose to put into the app.
Nothing here excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud. Consumers keep their mandatory statutory rights, which these terms do not limit.
Availability and changes
The app, and any service behind it, may be modified, suspended or discontinued at any time, and these terms may be updated; the current version always lives on this page, with the date below. Continuing to use the app after a change means you accept it.
Governing law
These terms are governed by Italian law. If you are a consumer, you keep the protection of the mandatory provisions of the law of your country of residence, and may bring proceedings in the courts there.
